I’m installing SOLIDWORKS Electrical 2025 SP5 on a new server (Windows Server 2022 Datacenter), using a newly created named instance of SQL Server 2022. The install completed with no errors. I then installed SOLIDWORKS Electrical Client and SOLIDWORKS Electrical 2D Schematic on the server as well with no errors. Both installations were done using an administrative image using the ‘Deploy Automatically’ option.
When I start the SOLIDWORKS Electrical application, I receive this error message:
The server name, tew user and password are both correct. I can log in to SQL Server Management Studio using them.
In SQL Server Management Studio, I notice that the expected databases (TEW_APP_DATA,TEW_APP_MACRO,TEW_APP_PROJECT,TEW_CATALOG and TEW_CLASSIFICATION) are not present.
Has anyone else seen something like this? If so, how did you correct it?
