This is for the SW & PDM experts:

I have a top level drawing containing assemblies and components + a BOM and balloons where everything is properly connected (thru metadata) to the balloons.

If all of the assemblies or components are not in a 'published' state - and the drawing is, can that cause balloons, components or assemblies to go missing from that drawing?
