Hello everyone,

I am using SolidWorks 2026 Student Edition and I have a problem.

Whenever I finish a sketch and then create an extrusion, the sketch automatically disappears. I know that I can find and show the sketch again, but I would prefer that it remains visible by default.

I assume this is related to a setting somewhere in SolidWorks, but I am not sure where to find it and I do not want to accidentally change something important.

Could anyone please help me identify the setting responsible for this behavior?
