I’m working on a project involving sheet metal parts welded together, and I’d like to simulate the welding process to see the possible warping or distortion caused by heat.

Is there a way to do this directly in SolidWorks Simulation, or would I need to use a different approach or software (like thermal-structural analysis or a specific add-in)?

Any tips, examples, or tutorials on how to set this up would be really helpful.
