Hi! How can I align an isometric drawing view in SolidWorks 2023 so that its center is positioned on a sketch line or at a specific point created on the drawing sheet?
Problem:
- There is only one view, and it moves freely (not a projected view
- The line is a regular sketch line on the drawing
- I need to place the center of the view onto a specific point on that line
- The Align command does not work (it says the views are already aligned)
- When trying to add a Coincident relation (using the view origin or model geometry), I get an "Over Defined" error
- Snapping to the sketch line or point does not work
Is there a way to precisely constrain an isometric drawing view to a sketch entity (line/point), or is this a limitation of SolidWorks?
