Hello,

we are experiencing an issue with opening newer Creo files in eDrawings.

Newly created .asm assembly files show the error:

“Error reading file.”

Older .asm files still open correctly. The same issue also affects some newer .prt files.

The files can be opened in Creo View Express, so they do not appear to be corrupted.

We already updated eDrawings to the latest version, but the issue remains.

Are there known compatibility limitations with newer Creo versions/files in eDrawings?
Are there specific export or save settings in PTC Creo required for eDrawings compatibility?
