Hello everyone, I'm new here. 

I've been in contact with my local sales representative because I would like to give SW Electrical a trial run against its competitors. Unfortunately, he tells me I need to buy almost 7k\\\$ of courses (for 3 people) before I'm eligible to use the trial version, which is completely insane! I don't understand how every major software vendor has a completely free trial available, but not Solidworks. I will not spend that much money just to compare it against others BEFORE buying it for another 5-10k\\\$!

Please let me know is this process is normal, because I frankly cannot understand the logic behind it. Contacting SW directly for answers seems impossible, which adds to the frustration.
