Hi All,

I'm  looking for a single line font (similar to the included OLF SimpleSansOC) but has no closed shapes.

I currently use OLF SimpleSansOC on a sketch so I can etch my "part number" customer property onto parts. The trouble is, due to the enclosed shapes on numbers like 6, 8, 9, etc, the protective film on the material doesn't come off in one piece. This adds time picking out small pieces of film during the part cleanup

I'm sure I'm not the only person to have this problem, but searching through the forums, many of the posts don't mentioned a proven font. Just workarounds using blocks or exploding text. These aren't ideal as the note will lose the link to the "part number" custom property, so it won't parametricly update.

I tried to edit OLF SimpleSansOC in FontForge and add bridges/ modify the characters to have no closed shapes. But when I installed the font, the start and end of the letters were automatically joined. Researching more, it looks like FontForge can't handle true One Line Fonts and joins the ends.

Does anyone have recommendations? Hopefully to take OLF SimpleSansOC from this
