Back when I started using solidworks (2018), it felt much easier to double click on a feature from the part or assembly left, then double click on a dimension to edit it without having to open up the relevant sketch. Holding shift seemed to make it even more reliable.

Something happened around SW2021 that made it so that it is very hard to actually select the dimension. It seems that the pickbox for the dimensions is very small, or potentially not in the right place. I can click the line leading to the dimension more reliably, but I still have to be very precise. I now use SW2025 and it still seems to be an issue.

Does anyone know why this changed or if it is possible to fix? I do not use perspective mode, and I have instant2D turned off.
