I had SW closed and used the Windows explorer SW plugin (right click -> SolidWorks -> rename)
to rename a part file in a small assembly.

This part gave an odd error that I've never seen before, it said failed to rename.
I closed the dialogue and tried again and it gave the same error. It did this a third time too.
I refreshed the folder and the file disappeared.

It was not moved anywhere, it no longer exists on the drive, and it's not in the recycle bin.

The name change was just the addition of numbers. I should be able to find the rest of the file name
by the original string, whether it was successfully renamed or not.

Has anyone else experienced this or have ideas what happened?

(I am the only one working on these files, no PDM)
(The part and assembly opened fine the day before and no edits were made since)
