Exporting SolidDraw File into DXF for Nesting Software

Hello,

Currently I facing several concern regarding utilization of SolidWorks Drawing. Let me enlighten my workflow first of using the SolidWorks Drawing. First, I create the 3D part sometimes it's a sheet metal, sometimes just regular part. Further, I projected the part into 2D environment on SolidWorks Drawing. Then I have to convert the drawing view into sketch entities for refining process. The aim of drawing being refined is to ensure every "hidden lines" projected properly since later the drawing will be exported into DXF Files for being proceeded further on our Laser Machine's Nesting Software. The Nesting Software we used is TEPROM L-50.

Let's we put the constraint that I cannot modify any parameters on TEPROM L-50 software since it handled by other department.

Thus, below my problem concerning mentioned situations,

  1. During exporting process I have to mapped the sketch entities into following defined layers name. The layers name itself wrote in Japanese kanji, but every time I re-upload the .map files it always getting corrupted. (Image below shows the template should be - left image against actual condition once the .map file being uploaded - right image).

    2. Then, I cannot mapping the drawing based on the line style on the refined drawing but only rely on drawing view entity, which it is impossible for my case since I've been converted into sketch entities instead. Meanwhile I want to map the sketch based on the line style (i.e., solid lines mapped into color A, while dashed lines mapped into color B)

    3. Is there any FILTER feature similar with the AutoCAD inside the SolidWorks, so I can select specific sketch entities.

Those are my concern regarding utilization of SolidWorks Drawing, do you have any idea for me to outcoming those problems please? It won't be a problem also if I have to add another paid add-ons licensee on SolidWorks.

Really appreciate for your any response folks! 🙂
