I found a bug.

The STEP Import options are greyed out unless Interconnect3D is enabled (in another dropdown).

I do not use Interconnect3D and have the feature disabled. I still need to import STEP files. I want to modify the settings for STEP file import per the SW Docs (see below). I cannot-they are disabled/greyed out by SolidWorks.

Turning on Interconnect3D enables the options. I make my changes then disable Interconnect3D.

This is unintuitive and should not behave this way. Interconnect3D enabled should not enable/disable STEP import options.
