Bogus memory warning and crashes - SW23

Hi all,

For some time now, 2 of the 4 workstations with SW23 are getting this warning, seemingly at random:

SW is barely using any memory and there's plenty still available.

I can work all day with large assemblies and not get this message once, while at other times it just keeps happening with the most basic asseblies with only a few simple parts in them. If it's only a warning I wouldn't care and spend time looking for a solution, but more often than not it will crash Solidworks. Even if I choose 'No' so I can save my work. This has cost me many hours of lost work already. My VAR pointed me to a potential solution by making the swap-file of my system larger, but it didn't change anything. This crap keeps happening.

What puzzles me is that this doesn't seem to be a result of an update as we're on SP05 since it's release and had no issues like this for the last years on SP05. It's a fairly recent issue.

Upgrading to a newer version of Solidworks is no option, thanks to SW killing the rendering software but that's another matter...
Really makes you wonder about the competition....

Anyway: maybe someone over here with a solution for this productivity destroying bug? Would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
