I'm new to Solidworks but have experience with other cad packages. I'm ok creating design tables and adding configurations for parts but when those parts are put into an assembly the table refuses to populate. I've tried many suggested fixes over several days but to no avail. I think my problem is using Excel 2024 with Solidworks 2026 on Windows 10. I don't want to upgrade to Windows 11 at the moment so it seems my only option is to downgrade to Solidworks 2025 SP5. My questions are:- 

Is there a known issue with Solidworks 2026?

If so, is there a fix planned any time soon?

or if not, is it best to downgrade Solidworks or upgrade to Windows 11?
