Every time I got to use my hobbyist or maker or whatever you want to call it, copy of 3DExperience Solid works it doesn't work.  Hot fix 1.8 required me to go make registry edits - not even called out by the SolidWorks team but discovered by the awesome users in this community.

Hotfix 1.9 now says that I have the license checked out, when I've only ever used it on one machine.  The solution - wait 22 minutes for it to drop the license...  We'll see if that works, I guess.

SolidWorks.  DO BETTER!  It's impossible to be this bad at releasing software that already works on the day-to-day in an industrial environment.
