GEOVIA CONNECT 25X: Rethink What’s Possible in Mine Planning and Design for Underground Mines
Here's the response from @CL, Industry Process Expert Senior Specialist - Dassault Systèmes:
Christina LUDWICKI Industry Process Expert Senior Specialist Dassault Systèmes | That’s a common question. Generally, when we start thinking about building a parametric model, I like to think about the inputs of the model first. That might be different for everyone: it could be your geological model, your ore body, geological constraints, the stopes, those are the inputs. Then I think about what the outputs will be: is it the mine design, the 3D solids, or something else you want to achieve? In between, you define everything you might want to vary during the design. That could be tunnel spacing, an offset from a geological contact, ramp gradient, anything you want to test can be turned into a parameter that you can modify.
