GEOVIA Technical Lead, Integrated Mining Solutions & Optimization Dassault Systèmes | From the technical services side, GEOVIA can already provide this through customized solutions rather than a generic, built-in tool. For example, the Drill and Blast Pro application was developed for fragmentation prediction and can be extended with additional functionality such as cost analysis. Because cost structures and constraints (including environmental factors) differ by site, these solutions are usually tailored to each customer’s requirements. R&D would decide on any core product features, but the GEOVIA Technical Services team is capable of developing multi-scenario cost-versus-fragmentation tools in a relatively short time, customized for client needs.
