Teacher

Guys, I teachSolidworks at North Dakota State College of Science in the Manufacturing Dept.. We have a 40 license package I think?

My question is, I am also a maker at home.  I would like to have Solidworks at home for the summer monthes to use in my smallshop.

What would be the best version for me to have at home (educational or Hobbiest)?  Since I'm an educator could I get the educational version at home even though I do not take my school laptop home during the summer.  Meaning my laptop at home would not be registered through the school for our educational version and they will NOT let me register my home laptop at school.

Also buying a hobbiest version it seems like it says I would not be able to take those drawing/parts/assm to school and load into my educational version for teaching examples and problem solving?

Just trying to figure out what is the best option for me.
