Hello Everyone,
my team (TUfast Eco || TUM) and I are currently developing our next solar car for the upcoming World Solar Challenge next year. In the past and now, we have been struggling to model our composite parts. What we are trying to do is split a volume into layers of carbon fibres, core material, and then again carbon fibres. Since the core (foam or honeycomb) and the carbon fibre prepreg have different densities, it is extremely important to apply the correct material to each part to get the correct weight and cog in the end. Is there an application that can divide up a volume into separate parts? What is the best way to model such sandwich structures in 3D Experience?
Thanks in advance for your responses!
Kind regards,
Viktor
