Changing maturity of a part
I have started the 3D experience engineer certificate program in CATIA. I am working on the latest 2026 version that came a few days ago. However, the training modules are of the version 2025.
I am stuck in the Create Parametric design module. I saw how to change maturity. When I do it myself (from in-work to frozen) a dialog pops-up that the maturity has been changed. However, when I check the BI essentials tool, the disc always appears to be green suggesting that the maturity has actually not changed.
Also in the 2025 version based training module the tree of the part is open while the instructor changes the maturity. This is not the case in the 2026 version. When I open the tree, the BI essential tool shows no option. See diagram.
The BI tools shows the design state option in the Front Disc A (explore) tab. Even if change the maturity (from in-work to freeze) in the lifecycle option, the design state in BI tools remains the same, i.e. green.
Is the method in 2026 version different than in 2025 version. Please help.
