Just finished designing a custom-fit 3D-printed case insert for a guitar device.
Instead of chasing perfect measurements, I focused on:
- Functional reference geometry
- Clearance-first design
- Draft for assembly
- Robust modeling order
The parts printed cleanly and fit perfectly on the first try — always a good feeling.
