DELMIAWorks Extends Connectivity Options for Process Monitoring

Reliable machine connectivity is at the heart of all manufacturing execution system (MES) production and process monitoring. The DELMIAWorks 2025 Release adds Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) to its portfolio of machine connectivity standards. The MQTT lightweight message-subscribe protocol is particularly well suited for low-bandwidth, high latency or unreliable networks since its managed send-receive verification services ensure validated message delivery. MQTT compliments DELMIAWorks’ OPC Unified Architecture offering; both industry standards are recognized for their reliability and embedded security. DELMIAWorks also continues to provide machine interface units (MIUs) to retrofit older equipment with MES connectivity.
