Here are some settings to check if you do not see paint deposition when you simulate your painting task
- From Me | Preferences define your Mesh Parameters
- Open the Simulation Options | Paint Results panel and set your
- Display: Paint
Parameters | Max Saturation
- Display: Threshold
- Threshold Parameters | Upper Limit
Select Generate Legend after any update to the Threshold Parameters
- Display: Paint
- Confirm that the surfaces to paint are included in the Mesh Manager
From the Surface section, select the Mesh Manager command
- Close the Mesh Manager
- This will force the meshing of the selected surface(s)
- Confirm that the surfaces to paint have been meshed
- From the View section, select View Modes
- Select Wireframe and confirm that the part to paint has been meshed
- From the View Modes panel, select Shading with materials
- This is a MUST be to be able to display the paint deposition
- Simulate the Paint Task
If you still do not see your paint deposition:
- Check that the surfaces to paint are consumed in the paint cone
Open the Paint Profile and confirm that the Tool Profile defined in the Paint Task is consumed in the paint cone
- Check the trigger state of the paint gun
The paint cone representation should match that of the defined Brush color when the Trigger is set to ON
- Confirm that the Experimental Parameters defined in the Paint Profile are realistic
