I had a unique opportunity to test early access to Jama Software MCP (Model Context Protocol) - thank you for the access Jama Software Cary Bryczek.
This is a serious productivity accelerator.
In minutes, I validated the following scenario:
- Extract requirements from SysML v2 simulation using CATIA Magic SysML v2 MCP
- Push requirements directly to Jama using MCP
- Generate test cases (including alternative input scenarios) for simulation-based testing
- Push test cases to Jama
- Load test cases from Jama and execute SysML v2 simulation for verification
- Store testing results in JAMA.
Demo:
What this enables:
- Requirements synchronization
- True model-based V&V
- Closed-loop digital thread between requirements and simulation
- Faster engineering iterations
Key differentiator:
MCP provides live, bidirectional integration inside a single conversational flow.
We read from SysML, wrote to Jama, executed simulations, and persisted results — without switching tools, building middleware, scripting REST APIs, or relying on vendor-specific connectors. This fundamentally changes how integration can be approached in MBSE environments.
Would you like to explore any of these use cases further?
