Last week, Five days to scale up European deeptech was the program of the first edition of our European Deeptech Week, which took place last week in Paris. An intense week to build, with over 25 countries represented, Europe's technological competitiveness. Paris is the 3rd global deeptech ecosystem, French deeptech fundraising has tripled since 2019 (reaching €4.1 billion), the ecosystem has matured but the gap with the United States is widening: €137 billion raised for deeptech across the Atlantic in 2025, compared to €21.6 billion for Europe.

Messages from Nicolas Dufourc BPI President : Why we organized this European Deeptech Week. Not to celebrate what exists, but to progress on what we still lack:
→ connecting national ecosystems in Europe, startup by startup, investor by investor.
→ bringing in private capital (institutional, CVC, family offices, private equity) into the deeptech sector. The French ecosystem will need €30 billion by 2030.
→ bringing industry and deeptech closer. What we saw last week (Dassault in Harmattan AI, Renault in Wandercraft, ASML in Mistral) should become the norm, not the exception.

Many industrials and research labs were there such Airbus, Safran, ST Micro or CRNS represented by their CEO Antoine Petit : Scaling, Collaboration, Consolidating were the key messages 

We were there all week, with some of our startups such Strong by Form, Octocells, WattAnywhere, Grapheal...it was a good opportunity to connect them with industries. @AM @ZS @DR
