The upgrade for the 3DEXPERIENCE® platform on the Cloud to the 3DEXPERIENCE® R2026x GA level is now completed. In line with this upgrade, a new version of the 3DEXPERIENCE® Cloud Eligibility Tool is also released to take into account the changes pertaining to this level.
This new and updated version of the tool includes a couple of improvements as well as a few changes. A brief summary of all the important changes done during this upgrade is highlighted below:
Changes in Hardware and Software Configurations:
Operating System:
As a result of the Microsoft announcement, Dassault Systèmes has stopped providing Support Services on Windows 10 after October 14, 2025. We recommend upgrading to Windows 11 to ensure continued support. Please refer to support news for more details.
Windows 11 supported levels for 3DEXPERIENCE® Platform on the Cloud are as per below:
- Windows 11 Enterprise: Supported versions are 22H2, 23H2 and 24H2
- Windows 11 Pro: Supported versions are 23H2 and 24H2
- Windows 11 Pro for Workstations: Supported versions are 23H2 and 24H2
For more details on the same, please refer below support policy:
Cloud Eligibility Checker does take these changes into account in Hardware and Software Configurations check as per below:
New Certified Workstations:
In recent times, multiple workstations has been certified by the Dassault Systèmes for supporting the 3DEXPERIENCE® Platform on the Cloud. All of these workstations are updated into Certified Workstations List for 3DEXPERIENCE® Platform on the Cloud and the Cloud Eligibility Checker tool does take these changes into account in Hardware and Software Configurations check as per below:
Local Network Access Check:
Starting with Google Chrome 142 and Microsoft Edge 143, browsers now prompt users to allow or block local network access when a website tries to connect to an app or service on the local machine. The 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher depends on this connection to open desktop applications from the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. If the connection is blocked or not granted, the launcher fails — often resulting in an infinite loop or a “Download 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher” prompt.
The Local Network Access (LNA) Check is introduced in Cloud Eligibility Checker v26.00.00, to proactively help users avoid these issues. Cloud Eligibility Checker now validates the Local Network Access configuration on users workstation, to determines whether the browsers are allowed to access local network resources or not.
The check also intelligently adapts based on your machine’s detected region:
- If the system is located in China, only the “*.3dexperience.cn” domain is evaluated.
- For all other regions, only the “*.3dexperience.3ds.com” domain is evaluated.
Local Network Access Check is part of 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher Configuration. It analyzes both browser policies and user-specific settings to determine whether Chrome and Edge are correctly configured as per below:
Moreover, the usual changes related to the Upgrade have also been done in the tool. To name a few, the support for browser versions is streamlined as per the current stable release, the list of supported levels for 3DEXPERIENCE® Open Software has been accordingly revised as per the newly introduced levels and so on… for better understandings of the check.
Hope that the above changes implemented in the tool prove useful for you and help you work serenely.
To stay up to date with the brand new updates, it is very much essential to download the latest version of the Cloud Eligibility Tool each time.
So go on then, download this upgraded version and check if you are Cloud Ready!
