I designed this wind turbine blade considering the local conditions of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, in the state of Oaxaca. I performed a preliminary analysis of the wind resource to determine the xfoil I would use and thus obtain the xyz coordinates of said airfoil to begin drawing in SolidWorks. I used the "Curves by xyz Points" function to insert the coordinates of each section of the xfoil until the blade was complete. Subsequently, I used functions such as fillet, extrude, cut and round, in addition to adding folds and planes, ensuring that each process was done correctly to obtain the CAD design of the wind turbine blade.
