As part of my engineering design internship, I modeled a swivel lifting eye bolt, a component widely used in industrial assembly and maintenance operations. This type of element is essential for the safe lifting of loads, as its swivel mechanism allows the load to automatically align with the lifting direction, reducing lateral forces and risks during the maneuver.

The development of the eye bolt involves the application of principles of strength of materials, mechanical design, safety factors, and industry standards. Its main benefits include increased operational safety, reduced wear on lifting equipment, and greater precision in load handling.
